Collection: Labeling & Storage

Sterilizer Packaging, Labeling, & Storage

In a properly designed Sterile Processing Department (SPD), instruments move in one direction — from the dirty side to the clean side — and never backward. After soiled instruments are decontaminated on the dirty side, they cross into the clean side to be inspected, assembled, packaged, labeled, and sterilized, then held in secure storage until they're needed at the point of care. This one-way workflow is the backbone of infection control: it prevents cross-contamination, protects the sterility of every processed pack, and gives your team the traceability required to prove that each item was handled correctly.

Labeling and storage is where that clean-side workflow comes together. Once instruments are cleaned, they need to be organized into trays, sealed in the right packaging for their sterilization method, marked for identification and traceability, and stored in a way that maintains sterility until use. Getting this stage right ensures that the work done upstream in cleaning and sterilization isn't undone by improper packaging, missing documentation, or unprotected storage.

Duraline Systems is your one-stop shop for every step of the clean side. Our labeling and storage products include instrument trays in stainless steel and plastic, safe for all autoclaves; the Labelex™ I.D. labeling system for full traceability of every pack and pouch; instrument pouches matched to steam, EtO gas, and dry heat sterilization; sterilization wraps that shield instruments from contamination; indicator tape for all autoclave types; sterilization tubing and sealers for custom-sized packs; and complete sterilization centers that organize your entire processing area for maximum efficiency. Together, these products help you package, identify, sterilize, and store with confidence — from the moment an instrument leaves the dirty side to the moment it's ready for the next patient.
