Instructions:
Use a minimum of a three (3) inch or 8 (eight) cm section of tape to close packages/items intended for EO sterilization. Process packages/items as instructed in the sterilizer validation or manual. Upon exposure to EO, the Indicator stripes will transition from Orange to Green. The transition color may varying depending on the load configuration, length and conditions of exposure. A color transition from Orange to a shade of Green provides indication of exposure to EO.
If you are a medical facility requiring FDA approved indicators and need tape to secure your instruments in sterilizer wrap, Duraline recommends using this EO Gas chemical indicator tape for security in conjunction with Steri-Dot process indicators (FDA Approved for medical-use). This will keep your instruments safe and prevent contamination while remaining compliant with medical requirements.
