- Specifically designed for evaluating air removal efficiency in dynamic-air-removal steam sterilizers at 132 °C for 4 minutes and 134 °C for 3.5 minutes
Comprehensive Packaging:
- Consists of chemical indicators on two test sheets (125 x 113 mm) positioned between porous materials and a reticulated foam, forming a complete test package
Visual Indicator Transformation:
- Primary test sheet with a regular pattern transforms from yellow to a uniform dark brown/black color, signaling successful air removal. A lighter-colored area indicates air removal failure
Early Warning System:
- Includes a warning sheet with an indicator circle, turning from yellow to dark brown/black for early detection of air removal failures before appearing on the primary test sheet
Standards Compliance:
- Bowie-Dick Test Pack complies with ANSI/AAMI/ISO 11140-1:2014 and ANSI/AAMI/ISO 11140-5:2007 standards for reliability and accuracy
