CaviCide1, a multi-purpose disinfectant/decontaminant cleaner, can be used on hard, non-porous surfaces. Q. Can I let CaviCide1 spray dry by itself? Will that disinfect a dirty countertop?
A. Before disinfecting a surface, it needs to be cleaned. It's recommended that you first spray CaviCide1 on countertop (or other surface) to pre-clean debris. After wiping with a clean towel, spray CaviCide1 again and let sit for 1 minute. Then wipe again with a clean towel (not the one you just used). Q. What is the difference between CaviCide1 and CaviCide?
A. CaviCide1 has 1 minute kill claims while CaviCide has 3 minute kill claims (so it kills germs faster). Same manufacturer, same ingredients.
Q. Can I use CaviCide1 on the dance floor in my studio? One is a solid black floor and the other is wood.
A. CaviCide1 is only recommended for hard, non-porous surfaces. If the wood has a finish on it, it might be okay, but there are other surface disinfectant sprays on EPA's List N effective against 99.99% of germs that will not damage porous surfaces. Duraline suggests Clo2bber or Selectrocide 1G for dance studios. These solutions are compatible with our Durasprayer!! Fogger Aerosol Sprayer! Spray the whole dance floor in seconds.
